Participates in a Legal Editorial Operations team and assist in preparation of data for publishing legal and regulatory products in print and/or electronic form. The primary focus at this level is to undergo training in order to attain skill proficiency. Learn and understand importance of timely escalation of process/technical issues and challenges. Comply with all departmental policies and procedures. Requires full supervision of work.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: (approximate percentage of time spent in each area)
1. 80% - Training/Production/Editorial:
Undergoes training to learn and apply a general understanding of legal system and continuously develop knowledge of an efficient production/support workflow process. Undergoes training and performs duties such as analyzing, keying, converting, coding, copy reading, editing, merging, rendering, loading, or validation of data under supervision. Supports team publishing goals by meeting deadlines as part of “On the job Training” and Live processing.
2. 10% - Product/Process Knowledge:
Undergoes training, learns and works under supervision on various systems, software, databases and applications to deliver quality products. Learn, understand and apply importance of Responsiility for accuracy and completeness of work product, including competence in scheduling and administrative systems as well as computer file management. All work will be checked until competent process knowledge is developed.
3. 10% - Interpersonal/Team Skills:
Works successfully in a team environment and understands various roles of team members. Attends and participates in team meetings, prioritizes own work.
