Job Description :
- The role is that of a content writer of usage of products to clients.
- Excellent written and spoken communication is a must.
- The background may be from a software product, however, the candidate may not need to have a technology background.
- Work with IT and product development teams to understand and interpret user guides for clients.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Excellent writing, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are crucial as this individual must represent the Technical Publications team at cross-functional meetings internally on a regular basis.
- Ideal candidate will have broad, professional writing experience and feel comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment, working either with subject matter experts or directly from engineering documentation and source code, as required.
- You must work well with software development teams, located in various global locations, over the full development lifecycle.
- Financial products background a strong plus.
Recent technical writing samples required, as well as BA in English, Journalism, Communications, or related technical field.
Desired Profile:
- A minimum of 0-3 years of experience writing, maintaining, and illustrating the following types of documentation:
- Installation guides
- System administration and configuration guides
- User Guides
- Online help, GUI, wikis, and Web-based communities
- Reference, API guides, and software development products
- Technical application notes and knowledge base topics
- Quick reference guides and release notes
- tutorials, sales collateral, and web copy
