IBPS has issued a revised notification/CORRIGENDUM for probationary officer recruitment regarding the modification in age criteria and percentage in the graduation degree (qualification). The first and original notification has been issued by the IBPS on 10th July 2013. The notification was about to recruit probationary officers or Management Trainees through Common Written Exams 2013. The detail instructions, procedure and eligibility criteria have mentioned in the notification. However, now IBPS revised via a corrigendum it as follows, we’ve listed here all the changed made in the revised notification. Changes in Essential Education Qualification
Old Essential Qualification: The minimum qualifciation was a graduation degree with at least 60% marks.
Changed Essential Qualification: The candidates should need an only graduation degree. So the condition of minimum 60% marks has terminated.
Effects: It is seriously a good news for those who has 59% marks and missed the chance to apply as PO merely because of less 1% marks. Some applicants do graduation or final year again to get 60% marks only to appear common written exams in IBPS. So, It is really good news for those who have less marks but bad news for those who are fearing of increase competition. Yes, it is true that there will be a huge competition in next IBPS exam. Some experts says that it will increase 100% if we calculate the number of aspirants.
Changes in Age Limit
Old Age Criteria: The age limit was 20 to 28 years according to old notification.
Changed & New Age Criteria: Now, IBPS changed the maximum age up to 30 years. In other words, the candidates whose aged between 20 to 30 years can apply for IBPS PO CWE III.
Effects: The same effect will be there as of qualifcation by changing the maximum limit of age. The competition will increase by changing the maximum age limit. Don’t know why IBPS has changed it but much peoples gets the benefit of these provisions.
Changes in Computer Literacy:
Old Provision: The computer knowledge was mandatory according to the old notification by IBPS and certificate/degree/diploma is also required from the recognized Institute.
Changed Provision: However, now the computer working knowledge and certificate is not mandatory.
Changed dates for application
The online registration starts from 22nd July, 2013.
The online registration will close on 17th Aug, 2013.
The fee can deposit online from 22nd July, 2013 to 17th Aug, 2013.
The fee can be deposited offline from 24th July, 2013 to 22nd Aug, 2013
