HEVC is a new video coding standard which is slated to be ratified by 1Q2012. Video analyzers are tools which help analyze an ecoded stream using smarT GUI and easy interface. This tool is very helpful in developement of h/w or s/w IP for video standards. Since HEVC is an upcoming standard, such tools ar not available yet from standard vendors. The project is to develop a tool internally whcih can assist in initial devopment on HEVC.
