Job Details:
-BS in Computer Science (or equivalent degree)
-Strong experience in scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python), UNIX OS
-Experience in Java coding would be an added advantage.
-Expertise in software testing methodology and test processes. Ability to build test plans and test cases.
-Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills
-Strong background in database technologies is a must.
-Expertise in writing SQL queries (strong knowledge of SQL)
-Background in QA methodologies and experience developing, automating and executing comprehensive test suites for Databases like DB2, Oracle or MSQ SQL Server.
-Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux/UNIX variants) with in-depth experience testing software on these platforms
-Ability to work independently and remotely with limited supervision
-Capability of working with a wide range of complex computing environments
-Hands-on experience installing, configuring, analyzing, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting systems and system related technology
-Must be flexible and able to adapt strategy to changing business requirements.
-Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills
